The Darwin Harbour Catchment Waterways Project is being coordinated by LandcareNT. One aim is to reduce weed infestations in sub-catchments to improve environmental and community amenity values. A key component of this project is to conduct a weed survey to produce a set of weed maps and weed species tables. Construction101 (Rowena Eastick) conducted the weed survey, mapping and reporting. Her report presents the results of the survey with conclusions for the Rapid Creek sub-catchment. The survey was finalised on 19 July, adding the Airport Development Group (ADG)-managed parcel 5729 on the southern side of the creek between Henry Wrigley Drive and ‘White Rocks’, to the total survey area.
